Chef Jasper Cruickshank Takes Top Prize

Ottawa, Ontario - February 4, 2024

Chef Jasper Cruickshank of Wild Blue Restaurant Bar in Whistler, British Columbia, has been crowned the winner of the 2024 Canadian Culinary Championship.

The competition featured 10 of Canada's top chefs, who competed in a series of challenges over three days. The chefs were judged on their culinary skills, creativity, and presentation.

Cruickshank's winning dishes included a maple-glazed salmon with roasted vegetables and a chocolate mousse with a raspberry coulis.

"I'm so honored to have won this competition," said Cruickshank. "It's a testament to the hard work and dedication of my entire team."
