Two Dead, Two Injured in Brampton House Fire

A house fire in Brampton has left two people dead and two others injured, including a child. The fire broke out Thursday afternoon at a home on Hespeler Road, near Bovaird Drive East. Emergency crews were called to the scene at around 4:30 p.m. and found the home engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, but not before it had caused extensive damage to the home.
Two Victims Identified
The victims of the fire have been identified as a 55-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman. The injured child is a 10-year-old girl, and the injured adult is a 45-year-old man. All four victims were taken to hospital, where the man and woman were pronounced dead. The child and the other adult are in stable condition.
Cause of Fire Under Investigation
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. However, it is believed to have started in the kitchen. The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fire.
