Start of trading on the Milan Stock Exchange quiet Saipem rises, after Opa Intermonte opens lower

Milan, April 6 - The Milan Stock Exchange started trading on Thursday with little movement. The Ftse Mib opened down by 0.09% and then turned positive, currently standing at +0.05%. Among the best, Saipem (+1.42%), which rises after the Opa by the Cdp.

Intermonte opens lower (-1.68%) after the Pavia family sold its stake in the bank to Bain Capital. The acquisition by Bain Capital represents about 62.5% of the share capital. The move is part of the restructuring of the Intermonte group, which in 2023 will see the merger by incorporation of Intermonte SIM and IWBank by Banca Profilo.
